Hello,

I have the book:
Learn_ESP32_with_Arduino_IDE_V2_1_Rui_Santos_Sara_Santos

I have carefully read OTA in Extra section,

But…

How to solve the ip address of the ESP32 connection when you do not have a serial monitor ?

One way would be to put a LCD display on the remote device and display ip in the same way that the article displays ip on a serial monitor,

Second way is to root a cell phone and use ip neigh, but is not legal to ask a customer to violate warranty terms of his cell.

Any simple idea to solve this ?
I am missing something,

Best regards,
Horacio

Hi.
You can set a fixed IP address. You can choose an IP address available on the network.
Go to the EXTRA UNITS at the end of the ebook, and check the chapter called “ESP32 Static/Fixed IP Address”.

Let me know if this helps.
Regards,
Sara
