Hi.
If you have different installations of Node-RED in different places, they will have different IP addresses because they are installed on different servers.

Please follow the instructions of the Smart Home eBook carefully to understand how it works.

To access the Node-RED that is running on Raspberry Pi on your smartphone, you just need to open a web browser page and type the Node-RED IP address followed by :1880.

Sara

No.
You don’t install node-red on your smartphone.
That is not mentioned anywhere in the eBook.

All devices must be on the same network.
Are they on the same network? If not, you won’t be able to access Node-RED.
If you want to access from any device regardless of its network, you need to follow Module 9.

I’m sorry, but your question is a bit confusing.
What matters is that all devices are connected to the same network. If you have a hot spot, all devices should be connected to that hot spot.

Sara
