Build a Home Automation System Video Course, module 2, between video 7 and 8 there is no continuity. At the end of 7 I am told that the next module will instruct on building an interface. But module 8 has that interface already built.

Hello Peter, I hope you are doing well. The “build home automation system” is easier to follow with the main eBook and watch the videos along as instructed.
If you open the PDF eBook, you will see in which order you should watch each video.
