Is there a way to rid that first start up screen before VS opens, kinda annoying. Default:C:\Windows\system32wsl.exe ctrl+alt+1. Or do I just go to that area and remove it.š¤·š»āāļø
Hi.
I’m not sure what you’re referring to. My VS Code just opens with a new untitled file.
You can try that, but I’m not sure what it actually does.

When I downloaded the VS I guess that the one I got was a newer version than what you have in your instructions. It is somewhat difficult to follow because the UI is laid out differently than Ā that of the book. But when it starts it comes up with a screen that says to hit a key to continue. Also the one in the instructions an icon like a š head where this icon is more of a square. All the same functionality is there itās just laid out differently. That has taken me some getting used to but workable. Also wanted to tell you I am really enjoying this , it looks intense as far as all the coding but I guess in time I should get it.ThanksĀ
Hi.
That’s strange because I installed a new version on another computer to try it out, and the layout and everything seem the same except from some small details that souldn’t make a difference.
Can you show me a printscreen of your VS Code? To share a printscreen, you can upload it to google drive and then share a link to the file.
