Dear Rui,
I am a new in this Forum, just bought your e-book about web-servers with ESP.
I have run through the installations of the tools and found the following “mystery 🙂 :
Since I have no ESP32 or ESP8266 board, yet, I try to upload your Blinking test program to my WEMOS D1 Mini Pro, but after compilation the upload has failed.
I tried to do it with my “traditional” Arduino IDE, and also failed. I noticed that port is in light grey/inactive.
I read some FAQ in your page, changed the cables, but no result. I tried it with Arduino Uno board without any problem, it recognized the port.
Also, I tried to upload the test to WEMOS with my old laptop in which there are no VS Code and Platform IO installed, and it worked.
Is it possible that VSC and Platform IO have changed something on my computer, or just some drivers are missing?

Thank you for your reply in advance with many thanks.

Zoltán

Sorry, I have not read the book carefully. After installing the CP2104 driver, it looks fine :)))
