I use platformio. The esp32 is recognized at COM port 3. A download is only possible if both buttons on the esp32 are pressed. The program is transferred to the esp32, but the serial monitor cannot open Com Port 3. A configuration of the paltform.ini file was also unsuccessful. can someone help me further. Thanks very much.
Hi.
Can you show me a printscreen of what you see when you try to open the Serial monitor?

Hi, thanks for the quick response. Unbelievable, it was the USB cable! Although the old USB cable was never plugged in, changing the USB cable fixed the error. Well, if that’s all it was, then fine. Many greetings Jürgen
Great!
I’m glad the issue is fixed now.
I’ll mark this issue as resolved. If you need further help, you just need to open a new question in our forum.

Although I had great problem a few days ago with download, and eventually properly installing the CP2102 driver, which I now don’t remember how I succeeded doing so. I now realize that somehow that driver no longer is on my computer. I did learn something about a “bad” USB cable, and I just ordered a new one. In the interim, please show me a detailed explanation as to where and how to succeed in installing it
